On the first day of March, traditionally one of the snowiest months in Colorado, Colorado Ski Country USA (CSCUSA) ski areas across the state received up to 29 inches of powder, with the deepest totals in the southern and central mountains.

Skiers and riders at Wolf Creek enjoyed 29 inches over the last 48 hours, while Silverton and Telluride saw 23 and 22 inches respectively.

Aspen Snowmass was blanketed in 21 inches in the last 48 hours, while Monarch and Sunlight received 15 inches each and 12 inches dropped at Crested Butte.

Elsewhere, 11 inches fell at Purgatory, Steamboat was coated in 10 inches and Winter Park and Powderhorn recorded 9 inches. Loveland, Cooper and Copper each welcomed 7 inches over the last 48 hours.

Keep up to date on daily snowfall totals and check terrain openings with the CSCUSA snow report: http://www.coloradoski.com/snow-report.
